Bath soap

VetCore — that’s it. That’s the post. Kidding! Mum has been religiously using this soap on me because she has proven, time and again, that it is effective at keeping me safe from ticks, fleas and mites.
It also soothes my skin during summertime, when furbabies like me are prone to itch and rashes.
Best of all, it’s au naturale, so Mum doesn’t worry when I lick VetCore’s lather from time to time. It’s safe for dogs like me!
Toothpaste

I’m not sure which brand this is, but what I do know is that it’s a meat-flavored dog toothpaste.
But I heard Mum considering buying a new brand when this one runs out.
Whichever she chooses, I just hope it tastes as good as this one, so that at least its yumminess distracts me from the weird sensation of having a brush inside my mouth and rubbed against my teeth.
Leave-on spray

After I’m properly rinsed and towel-dried, Mum will spray VetCore (again — no surprise there) onto me.
She will spritz some behind my ears, onto my nape and neck, and in between my ‘fingers’.
💡 Tip for furmoms: Because pesky ticks like hiding in between our fingers, Mum highly recommends that you spritz anti-tick spray in between your furbabies’ fingers and their paws.

This one isn’t a must, just something Mum likes doing.
Backstory: I’m the first non-Aspin furbaby my Mum had. Before my Dad gifted me to Mum, she had been taking care of Aspins, who are a lot low-maintenance than I am. So, she made a rookie mistake of letting my fur grow long without regular brushing. It was too late when she realized that my long fur had gotten entangled. Worst, some of them had matted. So, she Googled and saw this Saint Roche detangling spray that promised to help with my tangles and mattings, and it did! (This is also why she has decided that I should always don a puppy cut)
Now, this Angel’s Breath smell-alike (is there even such a word?) only serves as my after-bath cologne. I don’t mind, especially if it means I get to be a chick magnet. 😎
Dryer

I hate this thing! 😡 It’s too noisy and it blows air onto my face!
Nevertheless, I sit still when Mum dries me with this darn pet blow-dryer, because she says it’s good for me.
She says drying me well keeps my skin from developing molds, dandruff and other skin infections.
So, furmoms, make sure to dry your thick-furred furbabies after every bath.
So far, those are all the products I use when I take a bath. Do you use the same items?
