Divisoria (‘Divi’ for short) has always been one of Mum and Dad’s go-to shopping spots ever since they were just ‘friends’ *wink wink* #IYKYK
Now that they have me, they thought, “Why not bring Midnight?” That is, without bothering to Google whether or not Divi is a pet-friendly place. (Way to go, paw-rents! *facepalm*)

And so we went, and our first stop was Lucky Chinatown Mall, because that’s where we also parked. So far, so good! The mall is pet-friendly, as long as your furbabies are wearing diaper and are leashed.
But that’s it.
It turns out, the other famous Divi malls: 168 and 999, don’t allow pets inside.
Well, just my luck.
But since Dad was on a mission (as in, he wants to find and buy something that he really, really needs), he and Mum decided to split up. While Dad went alone to 168 and 999 malls, Mum and I stayed at Lucky Chinatown.

Luckily (true to its name, I dare say), there was an event at Lucky Chinatown Mall where mascots from famous animé and movies are roaming around, available for photo opp.
Having nothing else to do, we posed for a photo with this mammoth whom my Mum failed (and still fails) to recognize.
What about you, do you recognize this character? Which animé or movie did it come from?
Leave us a comment if you know the answers to our questions, or else my Mum will lose sleep overthinking about this furry thing (who I think is just second to my cuteness).

It is worth noting, though, that even if two of the biggest Divi malls aren’t pet-friendly, the busy streets of Divi are.
As a matter of fact, Mum and I also walked around those streets, and from time to time, we would pause to (1) people-watch (do you do that, too?), or (2) as seen in this photo, for Mum to adjust my shoe.
All in all, I would say my Divi experience was not too bad. (We think) we understand why some Divi malls don’t let pets in, and anyway, we chose to find the fun in this first-time Divi experience of mine.
So, if you’re a furparent who hasn’t brought their furbabies yet to Divi, but are planning to, consider the pros and cons carefully. But if you and your furbaby have been to Divi, tell us about it! Looking forward to hearing from you!
